I KNOW this is a STUPID question, but what is the next FREE level I can get?

APPARENTLY I have no security other thanif I pay for it.

I knew someone who had AVG installed on a computer and all of a sudden it stopped working, in fact it started acting funny, using too much cpu cycles. So, I just convinced them to change to Linux, where you do not need anti virus and other programs to guard against malware. Do you really need Windows?

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0.138 is the latest edition, but if you want better protection , get Avast Home Edition 4.8.1229.80723 . Spyware Terminator is a good anti-spyware program, and ZoneAlarm is a decent firewall.
