With the merger now complete, The Hideout will be returning to XM 202 for a special uncensored edition. As usual, the show will be pre-recorded.

HOWEVER, thanks to the greatness of Paltalk (OnA & RnF are trailblazers), we will stream the recording AND take live (to tape) phone calls!

The pre-record will take place this Sunday with the time TBD. Please check back for details and spread the word!

It's a shame they got bounced around so much over the last year or two. It's been so hard to keep up with them, I've completely lost touch with the show. There was a time when the Hideout was equal with Ron & Fez for me. On the rare occasion that I get to hear them, I have trouble getting back into it. I really hope they can get a GOOD permanent gig someday. Or (at least) since Jefe appears to headed more into the programing direction, it would be good if Dubs could get back with Ron & Fez.

I've been wondering if any other real shows might get a shot after what Mel said the other day on OnA. I hope they get a permanent gig here. Ronnie was talking podcast again today with Lily; and I couldn't help but think that Mel wouldn't be real happy with the podcast format using Interns.

I'm not against younger folks getting exposure, and I really think that is what Ron is trying to do with these opportunities; but right now it sounds like the company wants to make more use of the channel with other regularly scheduled shows.

I've only heard The Hideout from tapes I obtained, and their very brief stint on Free FM / XM that last week. I realize this is a podcast of sorts; but it's with a reactive audience, and so that is not like the one topic thing they tried for the week of XM podcasts they did.

Best of luck landing a permanent gig here to the Hideout. I'm working on my ideal schedule for post merger, and I think I can pencil you in for 1-3 PM est right after the fastest hour in radio, and just before the OnA show which is then followed by the Ron and Fez Show.

I would love to see them on XM/Sirius full time but who knows Jefe is a program director at 2 AM stations in Tampa and him and Dubs do NEXT from 9am-12pm then a weekly sports show. I wonder if they would ditch that gig for a full time satellite gig.
