Who knew there was any choice other than peanut butter ?

If I was going to this picnic in the park get together, I would arrange a taste test.

Wait, is nut butter a euphemism?

If so, I'll say cum.

Sunflower seed, cashew, almond, macadamia, peanut. All delicious nut butters.

I just want to know if George Washington Carver gets credit for all the nut butters or just peanut butter?

I've tried all the various nut butters, even made my own using a juicer I have that has a special attachment, but my favorite is peanut... honey roasted freshly ground peanut butter to be exact, which I've only ever seen available at Whole Foods... and for anybody who hasn't tried freshly ground peanut butter which involves nothing but the peanut (no sugar, no fillers, no oils other than those naturally occurring in the peanut), you really should. I've never gone back to supermarket peanut butter brands.

My second favorite would be roasted soy nut butter.

I guess that makes you the expert. You can arrange this taste test. Don't forget to send me my samples.

Not a nut butter, per se, but Nutella (hazelnut and chocolate spread) is pretty fucking awesome.

I also like REAL peanut butter. Tell me more about this juicer. I want to become the nut butter king of the Coastal Empire.

Oooh, not a nut butter, but good call. Apple butter is the best in the fall.

It's the Champion juicer... not my favorite for actually juicing (really noisy, the pulp winds up too wet, which means it's not extracting as much juice as possible... the pulp should be more on the dry side, like with my Omega Juicer...love it!)... it comes with a mesh blade for juicing and a solid blade for nut butters and sorbets, and just doesn't allow anything to escape where the pulp would normally be pushed out... everything you put in comes out, just completely pulverized. There might be a better machine out there for nut butters, maybe something that does it exclusively, maybe something less expensive.

I don't agree, but some southerners might call it a certain type of toe jam, not butter.

Other than a really super-good mixer or possibly a cuisinart/magi-mix, the least expensive tool I have found is this Nut Butter Machine on sale right now for $89.99 (http://www.fernsnutrition.com/hmnutbutter.html).

I will admit I am somewhat interested in this topic.

Meat butter may be one of the dirtiest sounding things ever.
