The NFL announced today that it will implement a new fan code of conduct, and that fans who break the rules can be ejected from stadiums and barred from returning.
Fortunately, there’s nothing in the new rules that bans standing.
The league says it is attempting to crack down on behavior that “detracts from the gameday experience,” including:
– Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal.
– Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in irresponsible behavior.
– Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
– Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects onto the field.
– Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.
– Verbal or physical harassment of fans from the opposing team.
There will no doubt be some fans who object to these rules, and some will be hard to enforce, but overall, these guidelines seem reasonable. Assuming that stadium personnel use good judgment in enforcing the rules, this new code of conduct should make life more pleasant for the million or so people who fill NFL stadiums each Sunday.
Why even go. Philly fan's gona be pissed.

QFT! It will be amazingly tough to enforce the language rule in Philly, much less the other articles.
Just another reason to hate the money grubbing jerks. Sky high ticket prices, blackmailing municipalities into funding stadia, and now a code of conduct above and beyond the norm. No wonder I hate professional American sports.
Civil conduct is a general expectation and part of the stadium rules. Why the hell does the NFL have to create a separate set of rules?

This basically sums up every single reason as to why ive come to DESPISE the NFL, and how awful its become
Its an octopus in the sports world at this point...its got its tentacles in everything, and it gets away with whatever it wants, which is maddeningly absurd and frustrating

Am I the only one that's starting to feel the NFL losing its death grip as the country's top sport a little bit?
Or maybe that's just around here.
Seems to me that baseball's been making strides to take back the top spot.
The NFL has already priced out a huge number of fans from going to games for the foreseeable future, and the constant unfriendliness of the sport to fans seems to have taken a little bit of steam out of the sails.
I'm not saying it's going to be dethroned as #1 any time soon, but it seems like the gap is closing.

...and, because they've added more commercials, games are getting unwatchable without a DVR. Touchdown, extra point, commercial, kickoff, commercial. Fuck that.

You enjoy your football games. I'll be over at the Garden where I'll still be allowed to curse at Eddy Curry and tell Q Rich how much his jumper blows
And fuck you, Fallon, you son of a bitch. I HATE LOS ANGELES AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DODGERS AND LAKERS

It all depends on how strictly they enforce these rules otherwise there is nothing wrong with them.
If someone who is an asshole and doesn't know how to behave in public they should be thrown the fuck out. Yelling and screaming at a play is one thing but when a person is doing it the whole fucking game just to hear himself yell, they should be thrown out. If you are a dick who likes to fight with other fans in the stands your ass should be kicked out. Everyone knows you should not throw shit on the filled to disrupt the game. I have seen plenty of people who get so fucking hammered they are passed out before half time. Why even bother going.
These rules are just common sense. Don't be an asshole and everything will be fine.
