I'ts not weird at all. Christmas is for all family members and pets are family too! I always buy my cat and my mom's dogs presents!!
We also buy presents for our pets. We even wrap them. Its so cute to see them try and unwrap them. The dogs are better than the cats at it.

I'm totally doing this this Christmas. I've already bought my dog a bunch of treats (Beggin' strips are his fave!), a bag full of bones for him to chew on, and a big honkin' stocking just full of toys. I've lavished quite a few bucks upon my beloved pooch.
What else could I do? I love him more than certain members of my family.

my cats get presents every year - they each have their own little stockings that i hang. i usually get them some new toys, catnip and cookie treats. i wrap them up also, and it's fun to watch them try to tear open the one with the catnip

My dog gets a box of bones and some pig ears every year. He basically ignores the bones, but unwraps the ears immediately, basically eating the paper.

Of course I get my dog some treats for Christmas. He gets Beggin' Strips, Pupperoni, a bone, an 8 ball, and a bottle of Grey Goose.
Anything he doesn't like, I keep.

I always get my dog gifts for Christmas, but they are usually dog toys.
My friend got his dog a "Tickle Me Elmo" this year... I think if I was a dog... Elmo would scare the S out of me.

Dam straight! My only problem with getting my dog presents is that I always give them to him when I get home and have to keep buying more. ahhhh! So of course I need to get him something else.....Hmmmm. Anyone got a female mini schnauzer? I'll give her right back I swear. Ok, the dog is for me.
