fuck all of this negativity. each of the guys on the show gives us something that we listeners appreciates in some way. i'm tired of hearing the complaints, and would much rather focus on what we enjoy about each of them.

i have to admit, i didn't know how to take Dave for a while. i am not a poop humor type of girl, and the stunt guy stuff really irritated me.

but i gave him a chance, and, fortunately, he moved on from that. it felt like he stopped trying to force it...and he became funnier. i enjoy hearing him on the show, and have missed him being there this past week. there's something sort of sweet and infectious about him.

i think the show is enhanced as a result of his presence on it.

he has a beautiful wife and a lovely family, all of whom i wish the best.

we are fortunate that he lets us in as much as he does...it's a privilege that i wish more people would appreciate.

i love the story about his having lived in his car in NYC, and getting through by listening to the .com show, and now being on the program. that's awesome.

they would slowly self-destruct before your eyes and for your entertainment...
there was a time when Fez could have been one of those...
but rose to the occasion...
Dave did what he had to to get attention...
but eased back, but not too much...
Ron has brought him along nicely to where
a radio career, a real one, isn't out of the question...
Ron talks about Dave sometimes like he's a son...
and takes a great interest in Dave's (and family) welfare...

Like Fez... Dave has the opportunity to make himself indispensible
to the operation..(he may have already).... okay.. that might be a bit strong...
but if Dave can stay out of jail... he's got a job for life...

Same with me and my chick. Dave rocks. No offense, but I thought Black Earl sucked, ESD brings way more energy to the show. I haven't listened in a couple years, but the show is way better with ESD.

I love dave. I think he is incredibly dedicated, has a heart the size of the grand canyon and he makes me laugh every day. I love the chemistry and repore he has with ron (i hope i spelled repore right), and the energy and love and enthusiasm he brings to the show.

On a personal note, Dave is a fun, really one of a kind guy who doesnt focus on negativity, and will reach a hand out in friendship to anyone and everyone. He takes a lot of shit from the universe but that never seems to diminish any of his good qualities. Anyone who knows Dave or has gotten to hang with him should consider themselves lucky.
