Its a crying fucking shame that Mr. B doesnt do standup comedy anymore. Im sure that he doesnt need the money anymore but it would be nice to see him do some nice standup sets. Just my worthless opinion.

^ ups
and even if he did, it would probably end up being some of the material he does on the air anyway
He should definitely release a "greatest Hits" Like what Opie and ANthony did with Jimmy

I'm sure he doesn't do it because he prefers the gig he has now.

and if he wanted to, I'm sure his contacts in stand up would jump at the opportunity to have him in their club.
We're lucky to have him right where he is...in this little box.

It would be kinda cool if an old video or CD (tape?) was out there.

He's actually in my stereo speakers, my computer speakers and my car speakers - but only at certain times. Totally weird.
This thread sucks as much as<a href = "http://ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69075"> this one.</a>

Having done stand up for a few years the ppople usually doing standup are usually pretty screwed up, it definitely isn't the greatest lifestyle unless you are doing huge shows like seinfeld, etc. of course. Tons of time on the road and time just sitting around doing nothing.
It really is a load of work for very little payoff and is the reason most standup comedians do something else (sitcoms, voice acting etc.) as soon as it is offered. Stand up is basically an avenue to do something else. Since Ron has found something else, why would he go back?
On a side note I actually started stand up in Vancouver so I did a load of shows with Seth Rogen (amound others of course) when we were both starting. Anyone been to the Urban Well is Kits? I went on to a career in finance he is famouse...

Well done. I'd never considered that.
Which refers me back to <a href = "http://ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69075">my thread.</a> Which does not suck, in retrospect, as I proferred the more reasonable suggestion of "Bennington Standup Night"
...and Ronnie's back in studio on Monday.
I'm kidding really - I don't think he has the least interest in ever doing another softshoe for his dinner again. Working a live crowd can suck to the point where you just want to torch the place - or inundate them with awful humor (<a href ="http://ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=72115">and here's a link for that thread if you'd like to contribute</a>)

If you've ever seen him do an Unmasked you'll realize he's moved way beyond.
