Why can a guy who is not a mod, just a dot commando, post a thread in the weird medicine forum asking a question? Yet when I attempt to post a thread, it says I am not allowed. What the fuck is that about. I dont htink Ive ever posted in there to have gotten in trouble. Why cant I post a thread there, when I have a legitimate medical question?

Post in the ask dr steve a question thread, he makes them new threads. I dont know why you cant post your own thread though.

Sorry, I had gone to bed, saw your im this morning.

Only mods and admins can post in that forum. What happens is people post in the Ask Dr. Steve thread, then he pulls the posts into a new thread and answers them.

Snoogans:

It's just the way the forum is set-up. The admins actually recommended to me initially that we do it this way (apparently Paul-o's forum is constructed similarly?) and in the end it has made a lot of sense.

When posts have been moved from other forums to the Weird Medicine forum, I've missed almost every one of them. However, I've answered each and every question that's ever been PM'ed to me or posted in the "ASK DR STEVE QUESTIONS" thread.

I just don't want to miss ANY questions so it works better this way. Also, due to my schedule (I have 2 kids under 6 and I work 7 days a week) I can only check the boards a few times a week so again it makes sense to have all the new questions in one place.

hope this helps and sorry you had trouble. feel free to PM me anytime or email me at drsteve202 at gmail.com
