Or is he??

I heard rumblings on the show last week. A couple times, Mr B. was like "Your not in yet", or "You've been in a couple days, don't do this". I think the mousse cake incident may have hurt his chances. And there was a space left vacant by Pitz.
That would definitely be the shit. Pepper Hicks rules.

It is embarrassing that Hicks is not paid yet. An intern is there to learn, not teach the EP.

if he isn't hired it is ridiculous. the kid is great for the show. i feel like hicks represents ron jr. (according to some comments that ron has made.) my only hope is that hicks is hired and mooch comes back. get frankling the fuck outta there and let hicks and mooch run the show production with earl. yes i know earl has little in common with mooch and hicks but after listening to the show for several years it is obvious that regardless of the ball busting, earl is important to the show.

If you remember, it took Pitz quite a while from the time they told he he was hired on until he was actually brought on the payroll.

Fingers are crossed.

Okay, horrid cliche.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, but what has Hicks done for the show that Earl Dave or Fez hasn't done in the past 3 months? Has he done anything exemplary to get himself hired besides having been there when Pitzy quit/left/fired/whatever and selecting some good songs for the intro? I don't really recall him doing any on-air bits, or making any serious contributions in awhile- something Ron's alluded to recently. Compare what Hicks has done on air to what Lily has done on air over the past few months. Just something to think about.

And yeah, despite saying all that, I love Hicks, hope he does great and does get hired. He's a very cool guy, with good taste in music and movies, has a good mic presence, and is a definite fun hang. I met the fucking guy once and it was a blast. Just sayin'.

Radio is the biggest scam in the world it's the only place in the country where you can work and work and work and have it still be called an internship....giving the company free labor...If I tried this shit at my job they'd lock me up

zorro, are you saying that radio is the only occupation with unpaid interns?

i really hope you don't honestly believe that.

I think you must admit that the Ron & Fez show use of interns is different than most companies. Usually the interns are not running the corporation. Between Hicks and Mooch XM sure got their moneys worth. I guess it makes up for the losing deal they got with Earl.
