The Cuban team is the top professional team they can put together, and each Japanese Baseball League team sends their top two professionals from each team.

I believe Korea sends their top pros, too.

The US doesn't do it because it's in the middle of the MLB season.

The irony is that Americans don't care about Olympic baseball...so they're only punishing the softball girls.

I'm actually enjoying this year's Olympics than I have in the past. My only issue is I wish the games were not NBC (and affiliates) exclusive. I liked it better when it was on pretty much every channel. I like flipping through all the different events.

Amen to what Ron just said. Recovered alcoholics and OCD sufferers can be boring. I understand that it is a huge challenge for the person to overcome alcoholism and deal with OCD but, damn, hearing about it over and over can be dull.
