Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane
But the memory remains
Heavy rings on fingers wave
Another star denies their grave
See the nowhere crowd
Cry the nowhere tears of honor
Like twisted vines that grow
That hide and swallow mansions whole
And dim the light of an already
Faded prima donna
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
But the memory remains
Heavy rings hold cigarettes
Up to lips that time forgets
While the Hollywood sun sets
Behind your back
And can't the band play on?
Just listen, they play my song
Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Dance little tin goddess
Nananananana nananada nananananana nanananadana
Nananananana nananada nananananana nanananadana
Drift away
Fade away
Little tin goddess
Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
But the memory remains
Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black...
The memory remains
Faded prima donna
Dance little tin goddess dance
Nananananana nananada nanananana nanananadana
Nananananana nananada nanananana nanananadana
Nanana...say yes...nananana nanana...at least say hello...nananana
Nanana...say yes...nananana nanana...at least say hello...nananana
Nana nana
10x more embarrassing than "Pendulum".
Everyone should have it on their MP3 player to listen to at least 3X a day, the worst thing is the guitar work, I bet someone could make that better and it could be a hit!
Then steve could leave the show, fuck at least admit this song is better than most of the shit passing for music today. Its not very high praise since the state of music sucks.

Honestly, it's not much worse than a lot of that "active rock" shit I hear on Squizz. Just put him in a real studio with a skilled producer, let Pro Tools work its magic, and you're not that far off.

that is the truth, as bad and goof-able "Foundry" is, if I never heard it and they threw it on Squizz and said "this is the new hit song the kids are listening too", I'd believe it. It's better than anything Papa Roach has ever done

I agree. Steve C. is in the same league with the musical genius who rhymed fire with fire.

I didn't hear it. Who did it? Was it Richard Cheese?
If Cheese hasn't done one he should.

I was a fucking psychic!!!!!

I did, dont bother. Steves not kidding when he says every song sounds just like it, mainly its the guitar work and the 8th grade drum playing that ruins the songs. The guitar player must have paid the most to record the album, he is turned up the highest and I have hear better players in dive bars.

they said they don't want to post them online yet
but it wasn't "Richard Cheese" style..its kinda hard to explain, it was like a 70s duet type thing..like "Captain and Teneal" or whatever that band was called..

Opie gave my remix a shout out on the air when I called in yesterday with some Instant Feedback, since he recognized my name and loved my remix. Lemme know what you guys think! They haven't played it on the air yet, but hopefully they will one day...
(If you like hard rock/metal, you'll LOVE this, I PROMISE...)
It's the first song on my MySpace:

Pendulum is one of those songs that you hope doesn't come on the radio while you're on the highway because it definitely rocks so hard that you gotta speed up to the beat. Best get out my way, indeed.
