I'm not saying what the cops did was right, but you don't see the whole story from the video POV. After watching three more times, the cops seemed to be looking for someone right before the guy got shoved and I did not see any people where he pushed the guy.
Though the view is partiy blocked.

They taunt bystanders and cops--this guy might've been a known/previous agitator.
It aint like they beat the guy--they stopped a moving bike--big deal.
Let's all just take a breath and assume the cop had a reason for this--
or should we assume the opposite? Either way, its assumption on our part.

Yeah, so the response when some idiot says or does something that the cop thinks is maybe insulting but ultimately doesn't actually DO anything to anyone, the right response is to grab a speeding bike and hurl it and the rider into some bystanders.

It's a tough job, but it doesn't give them extra-asshole points to just fuck people up because they're having a bad day and they feel like it or they don't "like the look" of someone.

Well, I'm sure there are worse things 4 cops to deal with than ahole protestors, especially those on pretty bicycles. But Chris's and your points are well made. Sometimes cop's actions look dirty and gritty to us, because we dont have to do what they do. And sometimes videos are staged or edited to make cops look bad. We really shouldnt be rushing to judgement against those who we pay to protect us.
