I don't get people who actually buy bootlegs. They look and sound like shit, and, besides, if you want it, you can grab it off the Internet for free anyway.

A movie on a DVD is not a movie?
I think theaters are starting to move over to digital devices, so film will no longer be the medium.

There may be a loop hole. Ron hinted a couple times that they really should check the replay if they want to see these movies. I don't know what it is though.

edit: in reference to what GAZ said, the bet has morphed and maybe that is what Ron is referring to when he says they should pull the audio from that day.

Not all are bad quality. A lot of bootlegs are now screener's copies or other inside releases. You don't see as many of those "in theater video taped" bootlegs anymore.

originally i don't think there was anything regarding fez and dave in the original popcorn movie gimmick. ron was going to watch 6 summer movies and like a week or so later the fez/dave part was added.

AS far as I recall, it was just summer movies, which means they'd be able to start seeing movies over labor day (but I don't know if they can catch movies they missed in the theatre, like Dark Knight, which is still going strong)

As terrible as Indy 4 was, Ron did Dave a huge favor. I was a big fan of the franchise but even I couldn't find anything redeeming about that P.O.S. The best thing Dave could do is just pretend it never existed. I wish I could.
