Only when I have a good feeling about it. The other night I picked up and it was my buddy who was in Italy for culinary school. He was hammered and it was 4 a.m. his time. Best restricted caller ever!

Lately, yes, because I'm doing a lot of business. Normally, I'd let it go to voice mail.

Worst conversation I was ever witness too:
sister-in-law: Hey, we've been calling, but you guys never pick up.
wife: Is that you with the restricted number? Sorry, we never pick up restricted numbers.
sister-in-law: Oh wow, I didn't realize...well now you'll know it's us calling.
wife: All you have to do is enter *68 (I can't remember the real number) first, and your name will show up.
sister-in-law: wow, that seems like a lot of extra effort.
wife: It's less effort than having to drive here in person to tell us what you have to say.
ugh.

Hardly ever answer them. Same with numbers I don't know. If it's important, they'll leave a message.

Usually, but only cause I know it will probably be one of two people whose number is always "private" or "blocked".

I only answer my cell phone.
My home phone/answering machine is reserved strictly for telemaketers to talk to.
Anybody I want to talk to knows to call me on my cell. Fuck everybody else...

It's for the DSL now. I never use it.
In fact, family members with restricted numbers know they will be leaving me a voicemail-and now they are beginning to see that anytime they "FWD:" an email to me, their address gets put in the spam folder.
Enough of the BS. Call me or email me with something that is relevant and I need to know. Other then that, tell your freinds the joke, and go to hell with the "Obama is a Muslim" forwards.

I think I've only ever received one restricted call on my cell ever. It was day before yesterday, and it was a prank. I was kinda hoping he'd call back so I could call him a pussy for blocking his call.

I have been getting 2-4 calls a day from "unknown caller", both when I am home and not home. When I pick up no one is ever there. Is this someone trying to figure out my schedule? I called ATT and I can block them next time after they call by *60, but what's up with these calls? If you're a telemarketing at least say something so then I can tell you to go f yourself...Anybody else get these?

It's usually two people, either my landlady or a person I work with. If it's important leave me a message.

Never do I answer those calls, if it is so important it would not be restricted.
