First, that was Japan, and it doesn't apply to Germany.

Second, it's not like both sides had the bomb and we were the only ones violent enough to use it. Considering what Japan did throughout the war (the Pearl Harbor sneak attack, the Rape of Nanking, etc.), they clearly were just as or more violent as us. They just didn't have the resources we had to create the bomb.

Third, we were winning the war at that point anyway for a host of other reasons (iincludin our own extensive resources in manpower, supplies, etc.). The bomb assured that we won without doing a very costly invasion.

So we didn't win the war because we were more violent. We won for a host of other reasons that had nothing to do with our level of violence compared to Japan's.
