View Full Version : Why Do i Pee So Much?

Specifically at night. I go to bed at 12 to be up at 7 and i find myself waking up 2 to 3 times during the night to go and pee.

Ive stopped drinking the only 2 things i ever drink habitually before bed (water and VitaRain) but i still wake up to pee, wtf?

Is my bladder small, is something wrong or do i need to stop drinking liquids hours+ before i go to bed?

It wouldn't annoy as much if i didn't have to wake up so early and have my sleep cycle continuously broken.

You may want to copy this post in the Dr. Steve forum.

You may have a growing problem, not a going problem.

That's pretty tame for this place.

Maybe you were born with the prostate of a 75 yr. old man? Seriously, I don't know. How long before bed are you drinking/eating? I drink alot of water and I probably have a small bladder, so I pee a lot too. Maybe you're not completely emptying out your bladder each time you urinate and therein lies your problem? That's the only thing I can think of.. ask Dr. Steve..

I don't know how i wouldn't be peeing everything out all at once.

I would say that i drink more than a few sips of water(bottle, half of a bottle) like one to two hours before bed.

I'm not sure how this relates but here it goes..I have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky..
When they both drink exactly the same amount of water the Shepherd will pee once but it will be three times as much as the husky but the husky will pee on three seperate occations before the shepherd goes again..
Both ultimately pee the same amount just in different increments..
Maybe your bladder is Siberian?

what do you use to measure the amount of pee that comes out of your dogs and was it hard to train them to pee into it?

My mouth and training them was easy, it was the neighbors that had a difficult time with it..Some people are so quick to judge, you know?

Go ask Dr.Steve- I'm very interested in the answer to this question because it's been a problem for me lately too. I hope it's not something that requires a phonecall to Liberty.

i had the same exact problem forever. I drastically cut down on the amount of coffee i drink and it helped out TREMENDOUSLY.

I also noticed that if i "pleasure myself" before I go to bed that makes me pee a bunch at night..but that might just be a boy problem

I don't drink coffee or soda, my liquid intake is virtually caffeine and sugar free as i have a sensitive stomach.

Might be a function of age. Happens to people at different times in their lives. Dunno if you're stressed out lately, as that might make you a restless sleeper to the point where things like bladders wake you up easier. Again, I have no real idea- Dr.Steve would have better idea of what's up.

i dont drink any liquids after dinner. But I get the same thing..its like, i pee a little bit at a time and i don't feel like i get it all out. When people say Diabetes patients piss alot, usually they take long pees and are drinking a ton of liquid. I don't do any of that...i think i just have a naturally small bladder (guess god had to make up for giving me an exceptionally long dick)

Since youve said it's not any of the usual answers, maybe it's this? (http://www.nafc.org/bladder-bowel-health/nocturia/?gclid=CMjjof28tpUCFQ-SHgodfQqSRQ)

As you know, I'm not a professional, and you should wait for Dr Steve.
But this may be interesting reading in the meantime.

Good luck.

wow those pills look like something that would help me out.

I might have a mild case of my body creating more urine when im trying to sleep..but if i drink a cup of coffee or a lot of liquid during the day..i'd pee alot too. I really think that me, personally, has a small bladder. But its not bothering me too much, I still get 8 hours of sleep

about 8 years ago my mom (42 then) had to have a minor surgery because she was having a similar problem. it was to lengthen the urethra to give more control to the bladder function. she said it was common in women, men obviously have a penis so the length is not an issue. she is a 25yr nurse so shes very well educated. just throwin it out there.

well, being raised by a nurse, talking about body parts and functions is fairly normal....now she didnt drop trow and bust out a speculum.....i dont know if i gave that impression or not, but discussion of a simple medical proceedure doesnt creep me out at all.

sorry to disappoint ya GAZ
