I am posting from my apartment

Why yes imaginary questioner, I did.

After years of worrying if I will ever be able to move out and months of waiting on the apartment I have finally moved out of my parents home and into my own apartment. I just got the cable/tv/phone installed, my very first bed delivered and set up, and I am waiting on my brand new fridge to be delivered as I type. It's a bit of a mess here but it is actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am keeping the mess to a minimum. All the boxes I have been unable to pack are stuffed in my mini walk-in closet.

It's just all so exciting and such a big weight lifted off my shoulders. I have been waiting for this moment since February and it has finally come and it really is worth the wait. It's just in time for my birthday which is a week from today. Best birthday present ever!

As someone who recently moved out as well I think you're gonna love it. The peace and quite is great and the responsibility of being on your own is a great confidence boost.

Just a word of advice...Just say no to IKEA it's all total crap. Hit some garage sales or go mongo some nice stuff for yourself. You'll be surprised at what you can "rescue".
