:nono:You have a mike,so use it.If you can't speak up,have the board OP turn up the high end(treble) and de-emphasize the lows in your already low smoker :thumbdown:mummbly voice. Mummbly :thumbdown:Mummbly  I love the show, just not the drone.Have the co-host squeeze your nuts to increase your volume  http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/BigIwantThoseBallsRedux45.jpg

ha ha, my thoughts exactly...I just feel like I'm droning on and on. Here's why, though...there ain't no board op...IT'S ME. And we're in a little converted walk-in closet so I find myself eating the mike but lowering my inherent volume.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to fix this, other than maybe turning down the headphone feed so I talk a little louder and with more animation.

I'll work on it!

thanks!

i thought the addendum show was great. had no problem hearing steve or anybody else on show. maybe what jlehane is really trying to say is that without 11 year old girls on the show it just doesn't catch his attention?

Steve -

You have one of the most eloquent voices on 202. Please don't listen to douches who can't even operate MS Paint right, let alone critique a radio show.

You provide an invaluable service.

HA HA! I knew I sounded like an affectatious douchebag when I said it...I prayed no one would notice. Ha, me and my "authentic japanese" pronounciation. yeccchhh.

"Sake, Mr Sulu?"

good ear, foster

after all, Leonard McCoy was a southern "country" doctor too.

You should have the classic Star Trek fight music (Kirk vs. Spock) open the next show.

I work with Japanese and have been to Japan a few times; I always get the douchechills when I hear an someone doing that. It just doesn't sound natural coming from a native english speaking person.

Yeah, I grew up in a community of Japanese...among my first utensils were chopsticks. Despite that it still sounds douche-y. It's like saying "hey, you want a burrito?" and rolling the "r".

Nothing beats people who drop the last letter of Italian food dishes, despite the fact that this doesn't happen in the Italian language. Every time I hear "Managot" I die a little inside.

I'll work on it!///////////// It's uncomfortable to have one headphone OFF or slightly off,but it gives you room sound so you don't get into the FM Radio :thumbup:announcer(I'm in love with my low voice rumble) trap of sounding like:king: GOD/Voice of God:devil2:. It's very tempting and lazy to do so,because we automatically think...wow I sound sexy with this great low voice....I'm:laugh: too :laugh:sexy for my MIKE. :clap:Falling in love with your:innocent: OWN :bye:voice is too easy. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/bigjerryflex.jpg

From a medical perspective, sure I can show you some pics of the Mars people ,who mostly look like us,wear clothes and hats, photo'd by the Mars rovers and since 1976 by 2 Viking landers. What's most interesting from a disease case scenario is a planet where the people do NOT bury the dead or bury them deep,in some above ground markers /gravesites with stones or sand partially covering the bodies.I believe that the thin Mars atmosphere allows so much sterilizing UV RAYS that burial is not needed against the spread of most diseases. I've only figured out bits and pieces, but there are skulls, mostly of animals laying all over the ground, especially at Spirit site.I designed the Mars rovers 1987,and saw my first Mars man Spring 2004. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/PIA10215bcrablu3cr6large3.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/132126244_dd9a050a29_s.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/83083597_bc08d8030c_m.jpghttp://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/89708922_bc9d7d587b_m.jpg The froggy is smaller than a sock puppet and next to Opportunity rover deep tread mark.
