Socialized health care bad?

Socialized financial institutions good?

I know that's a simplification and I feel the Government intervention was necessary but come on.........

I don't get it, explain

its very easy, actually.

Insurance companies are headed by wealthy, white good ol boys.

Health Care would save the lives of anyone not in the group above.

See?
Politics is easy.

You forgot that up until now, the people losing their jobs and houses weren't rich. Now they are.

its a simple numbers game

if healthcare standards starkly declined because no one was getting sick and the insurance companies werent making any money, then it might get governmentized

so if we all just dont go to the doctor or buy perscription medication from them, and drop our insurance companies for like 3 years; then gov owned healthcare.... TADA!!!

pat fixes another problem

It is a lot easier to fix the problems with the financial institutions than health care; all you have to do is throw money at the financial institutions, they adjust a couple of things, and everything is back on track.

On the other hand, fixing/socializing health care is a lot more complex. The entire system is going to have to be revamped and new portions created, but even then there are going to be problems deciding who does what for whom and with how much money. It will be a vast paradigm shift that will take a lot more than just throwing money at the problem.

Oh, sir, that is certainly not the case. The government isn't helping the people who are losing their jobs or homes in this situation. They're helping the people who are in absolutely no problem financially, but are simply losing their businesses, and would be able to help save their businesses in a significant way if they were willing to part with some of that money that they've been "earning" in quite a suspicious way.

It's still the rich helping the rich. Anybody who could possibly be a real casualty of this situation will not be helped within the current standards of our government.
