I was actually thinking about this while in traffic on "The Boulevard of Death" Queens Boulevard. They have recently added extra cameras along it now.

My question is here, Mr. Horde King. I wonder if there is an emergency vehicle, (ie: police, ambulance, fire department) and they have to pass and you are in front of them and go in front of one of those camera red lights, do you end up getting a ticket in the mail? Not sure. You shouldn't but I'm not really sure.

You most probably WILL get a ticket as they are automatically generated. However, given the circumstances I cannot imagine a single judge who would not summarily dismiss it.

There are two that I know for sure of Lent cuz at night you can see a huge flash us light after the lights turn red. One is by the church that is across from some Italian restaurant, Portofinos (my dad got a ticket ther, ugh) and there is newer one near 71st by Midway and that Bank, whatever its name is.

scary to me is i live in smalltown NJ..and at a few intersections in my town there are cameras....are we really that insane...its a suburb not a major highway
