~Katja~

it's between French Toast and Waffles for me.... just made waffles with fresh strawberries for breakfast this morning... I think I prefer French Toast though

King Hippos Bandaid

Belgium Waffles are the best, some Strawberries and Whipped Cream, even a Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream

French Toast with Challah Bread is in 2nd, lite fluffy and dee-lishous, some powdered sugar and maple syrup and you are good to go

Pancakes are in 3rd, but I probably eat them the most because they come with an Omelet\

I like Chocolate Chip Pancakes the Best with Whipped Cream, also regular pancakes with Butter and Syrup, Lots of bad pancakes out there, they are a lil overrated

There was a time when the waffle was king. Thats when i could put the sweet/sour death fruit (strawberries) on with lil whippin cream. But since my body has decieded to fight the death fruit im going to have to choose french toast. Find most pancakes are too solid and requite liberal amounts of tree sap to make edible.

I voted for waffles cause I'm a hayseed and LOVE the Waffle House chain. If I'm cooking myself or eating breakfast ANYWHERE else I'd choose pancakes over the other two...unless they're some sort of pancake other than a basic ass straight up pancake. So, waffles.

I am thinking the same thing. I love homemade french toast way better than ordering it out for that same reason. But then again I love my homemade pancakes better than any restaurants too. ONly thing I never made from scratch was a waffle.

QFT!

The artificial, "maple-flavored" syrup actually makes me sick to my stomach.

It's so bad that I have to pre-taste any of the syrups offered at restaurants to check if they're real or artificial ... and will eat a stack of waffles or pancakes or french toast dry if it's artificial and there's no jam.

(Of course, I'm also the freak who doesn't like butter, so I have to ask the server to please bring my order out with the butter on the side. Butter makes me a lot sicker than artificial maple syrup.)

Waffles w/ cream/fruit is basically a dessert. Very delicious but is it really a stand alone breakfast?
