i think he has a chance...i was a big fan of her ex-husband (James Gunn)..he was a Troma guy. They made a Troma film together called "Lollilove"..its a film done in a "spinal tap" mockumentary style you should all check out

the best part was James Gunn's "Art" on the lollipop wrappers



James Gunn wrote a novel called "The Toy Collector", its pretty good. It was a real poignant portrayal of how you can't go back to your childhood. Also, his character has a giant pee-hole that he sticks pennies up. But its a good novel
