This is not the board anniversary party. This is a New Year's Eve Party. The big time board party will be next year.

So I finally got permission from my mother to hold the New Year's Eve party at my home in beautiful Manalapan, New Jersey.

That's right, so if you have no plans this New Year's Eve, spend it with your fellow buds on the message board!

Couple of things to know though:

1) Absolutely no fighting will be tolerated in my house. If you get drunk and feel the need to slug someone, you will be thrown out on your ass. I am 5 minues from the police station too. I'll just drop you off.

2) Admission to the party requires one of the following:

a) If you're under 21, some form of snack food, be it pretzels, pop corn, soft drinks etc. You can also bring cups, paper plates and napkins.
b) If you're over 21, a bottle of alcohol or six pack of beer of your choice.

This is to keep the costs down. I figure if 30 people come with alcohol, we'll be set. We'll be buying additional alcohol of our own.

3) You must have at least 100 posts to be invited. I apologize to our newest members, but I can't have everyone with 3 posts come to my home. You'll catch the next one. (Possible exceptions, please e-mail me at sabanj666@aol.com.)

4) No drugs. No pot, no ecstasy, coke, Heroin, LSD, acid, uppers, downers, sniffing glue, etc. You will be allowed to smoke <b>cigarettes</b>, but outside. If you really need to do this stuff, drive down the block, but I don't want my mom or my dad to see ANYTHING illegal. If you feel like testing me on this, see #1.

Oh, and I just have to say this for legal purposes, this new years party is in no way related officially to the Ron & Fez Show. It is not sponsored, advertised, acknowledged by WNEW, Infinity, or CBS.

It is OUR party at MY house.

I just don't want every new kid with one post coming into my house. I'm sorry, maybe it is a little elitist of me, but I think I'm being fair. For christ's sake, there are a LOT of 100+ posters on this board, and I'm going to be accomodating all of them!

Pantera, to answer your question, yes there are hotels. Many of them. Everyone is also welcome to crash at my place, although I doubt you will be able to find someplace to sleep or the quiet to do so.

If you'd like to make reservations, you can call the following hotels, which are within 5 minutes from my house:

Sheraton Hotel
Route 537 in Freehold

Jersey Gardens
Route 537 in Freehold

Days Inn
Route 33 in Manalapan/Hightstown

The Days Inn is RIGHT at Turnpike, Exit 8, near my home.

Hey all new member. Im from Marlboro which is 10 minutes from Manalapan. For all coming in from the city, just hop the train from Penn Station. It's 12 bucks round trip and will take you to Matawan which is only 15 mins from Manalapan. I wish I could go but Im a new member. Maybe next year ! Have fun all.

Just remember its not a hotel room, its my house. My parents are really doing me a favor, so I'd like to keep everything fairly normal. (ie no orgies, random sex, mom walking in on someone getting a bj, that sort of thing)

Please respect that. I know you're all mature people, I've met you...but with alcohol introduced, who knows. So just watch out for me, ok? Everyone keep an eye open for anythign that might jeapordize this party repeating next year.

French Bread Pizza - cool another rutgers person on the board. About Matawan train station guys/gals, there are really no taxis that sit there for pickup. However you can call several taxi companies to arrange a pickup at the time you arrive from Penn Station. I think total travel time is 45mins-1hr from Penn to Matawan.
