What's the fallout from this? Will they be fined, suspended, fired...? Or was this just all for the publicity?

I just read aboot it on MSN. They've issued an apology, and have to run HIV/AIDS spots on their station. As far as I can tell, that's it. You do have to wonder how Magic is still doing and looking so well after this long though.....

Magic Johnson has never developed AIDS. He tested HIV positive, and has kept it from developing into AIDS through the "drug cocktail" commonly used for HIV-positive patients. His story isn't unusual.

My medicine cabinet is way duller, just lots of generic ibuprofen & sudafed. Also, I'm pretty sure Jim J. Bullock also is HIV+ without ever developing AIDS.

You do have to wonder how Magic is still doing and looking so well after this long though.....

i love ya jenny, but if you know anything about the progression of HIV caught early and the treatment options... it's not too hard to figure out. People can live healthily and function in a perfectly normal manner for years on end. It's not the automatic death sentence it was in the early 80's.
