I can't wait to see the first ratings for Sirius 197. They might be #1 there too.

Given the two week time gap between the XM and Sirius version, the ratings won't lineup perfectly. I'm guessing the XM version will have more swings depending on the quality of the show based purely on word of mouth from the Sirius listeners who get it two weeks in advance.

Of course this won't matter when the new XM receivers that will be out by Christmas include a flux capacitor which will bridge the time gap by allowing listeners to listen backwards and forwards in time.

The only downfall is the 1.21 gigawatts necessary to power the flux capacitor and also the need to drive exactly 88 mph. Still I'd say it's worth it for XM subscribers to hear RNF exactly at the same time as the Sirius folks.

QFT... but did you get what he ment about eliminating seasonal bias on page 2? A little over my head, but the rest of his blog is PURE GOLD, I can't believe they don't hype it more on the show. It took me FOREVER to find it on the web !

Wow, that's a fantastic idea.

Are you saying that the two satellite radio providers should merge? If you are, that's a pretty far-out idea, but I think you might be on to something. If they do, they should called themselves something like "The Greatest System In The World" or "Sirius-XM Radio" or something kooky like that. Then, they should slowly introduce the programming from one provider to the other. Sort of like a "Best of" Sirius or "Best of" XM, while they figure out and create new units. After that, maybe they'd become one service. You know, after they got all the bugs out and followed "rules" set by the "government" in order to "approve" their "merger""."

But that is such a far-out idea that I don't think it would ever happen.

Im loving the franklin in the far background approach. That guy is fucking terrible on air. I think it was mondays show when he was whining like a bitch about people not liking him, then when ron called him out on it he dropped his voice into a cartoony super deep brooklyn accent. HATE franklin

That guy is a fucking idiot and the Ronny B movie that hes filming needs to come out soon so he disappear from whence he came.

Quick amendment, Id love a Ronny B movie, I just dont need the director on the air making horrible points w/ his horrible voice everyday.

i gotta tell ya, i',m a bit cheesed off. i was gettin sirius for free for the past 6 months. they were afraid i was not gonna re-up, so they comped me the service until the merger, but when and ronnie and FW became available on sirius i committed to a 17 bucks a month just for those 2 jabroni's.

i forgot they are only on for a measly 3 hours live and no real replay.

they gotta go 4-5 hours live a day, on their own channel, and then replay all day long a la stern and O and A.

come on, 3 hours? that's it? bullshit.

this will give them boo-koo ratings. i gaar an tee it

There is more than enough replay content for RF, surely XM can provide us with more RF programming. Fuck O&A and their 9hr daily rant about nothing. I agree with you 100% it sucks,,about the sirius subscription, i too have the 6mos trial w/ purchase of vehicle. RF is not available in canada on sirius,,thats fucking horrible, as a result i did not register my system, fuck Howardsturn and sirius canada.

Extra characters that are on all the time is the sign of a weak show

Thats the beauty of Ron and Fez that will all of the ancillary people the main point of the show is Ron and Fez and even though i have resisted it Dave has done a great job in improving over the last 6 months
