As most of us, I could use extra money. I'm planning on having a "stoop sale" (as opposed to a garage sale) in the next couple of weeks with the ok of the condo board. I got some high-end items for my wedding that I don't use and I live in a neighborhood that will buy it up (Cuisinart, Lenox, Saks Fifth Avenue).
Also-- I'd like to sell some rings (gold, diamonds, rubies, and pearls). How does one go about it? Of course I don't trust those late-night TV commercials, like cash4gold.
I'd ALSO like to sell my WEDDING DRESS. It's a size 12, fitted for a 5'2" woman with a 36B bust. I know it's DONE, but I just wanted to ask anyone if they had luck with consignment shops?
I'm not in dire straits. (Money for nothing, checks for free). I just want cash "just in case."

youd probably make more money selling it on ebay, bidding would get you more than youd get locally

Craigslist is a good bet. Its amazing how many useless wedding gifts you'll hold onto. I think, eight years later, that I need to list some stuff that is gathering dust in the basement.

So you're about a size 12? Ohhhhhhhhhhh!

Wifey had a gold party once. I was skeptical but it turned out to be pretty good. For hosting it - she made back what she laid out for it... it was small - about 7 of her friends/family came - they cackled in the dining room over wine and one by one went into the living room (where the heartless gold dealers were - actually nice enough but BUSINESS!) to find out that their old boyfriends scumbagged them on a lot of their jewlery haha!
I'd sell everything else to ibanez -what a deal!

I don't think you can sell a corpse on Ebay.

27 which includes insurance and delivery confirmation.
I'll list it as "Dental Supplies" on the packing slip. Don't let your Hygenist open it though.

Actually right now I'm a great big fat person.
Just give me the lotion. I don't want to get the hose again.
