My second book, titled I Hate Your Guts, is now available for pre-order on Amazon. com (I think it's like $8.00 cheaper than stores). The book will be released on November 4, but I figured pre-orders would be big since that whole silly election thing happens that day. I trash, fairly brutally, a lot of people in this one. Hilary Clinton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Dr. Phil and Steve Martin and of course a shitload more. I really hope you like this book, it's filled with venom and bile. (it's a comedy by the way).

I went to check my status last night and tried to change to ship items separately... wasn't able to do that but I basically reconfirmed the shipping method and then it automatically shows that it would ship around 10/28.
Today I ordered something else and went to check the status again and it said I could not make any changes as they were trying to prep shipment already.

Stupid Barnes and Noble. After hearing that some people had received their copies early, I had stopped in a couple of times but hadn't found it. Today, I went in and first checked the new release racks - nothing there. Then went into the comedy section - again nothing. So I asked a clerk for help. He checked the computer, and said they must be in the back. He comes back a few minutes later with nothing, although he was determined to find them. They had indeed shown up early, and were out...somewhere. We checked every endcap; every table. Finally, we found a comedy section near the discount, out-of-print titles, and there was a small stack...on the floor under the table. Great way to treat a NY Times best selling author.

i had a hard time finding it too! I think i was in Barnes & Noble as well...but it was in the regular comedy section under the "N" for norton..but comedy sections are hard to find. And why not put him up in the "new release"? they had a book by the pregnant man (and i thought that was Jimmy's book for a second cuz their bellies looked the same). Lil Jimmy needs more respect!

I had that issue with B&N last year with Happy Endings. It was on the bottom shelf in the comedy section, not new releases or bestsellers... meanwhile it was on the bestselling lists for a while. what a shame.
