But they aren't zombies in 28 Days Later - they are humans affected by a virus. The virus doesn't make them undead, just completely out of control and psychotic. They could be damaged and killed without a head shot, but the infected essentially don't feel pain and will keep moving despite taking damage.

Fez's story reminds me of an ep of Tales from The Crypt.
A female prisoner is working with the undertaker for the prison, who is going blind. The chick is trying to convince him to help her escape. The next time someone died she would go into the coffin and then be buried. He would then dig her up after burial. The undertaker doesn't agree until he gets a letter from the State about whether it will pay for his eye surgery. He can't read the letter so she does. She lies and says the surgery has been turned down. The undertaker agrees to help the lady ( I think she promises to pay for the surgery).
A night comes when someone dies. She sneaks into the morturary, and slips into the coffin without seeing the undertaker. She's buried, but gets worried when no one digs her up. She lights a match and looks at the dead body of the undertaker.
Scared the shit out of me.
