Colorless Urine

I know sometimes people ask "goofy" medical questions but I am being completely serious when I ask is something wrong when your urine is as clear as water?

The various websites I researched seem to say that for the most part, clear or yellow urine is fine.

However, many sites also say something to the effect of "Dark brown and clear urine is characteristic of a liver disorder such as acute viral hepatitis or cirrhosis."

I am not a doctor either, but Ikea for the most part clear urine is fine, it is actually very very healthy. It means that you have been drinking alot of water and flushing out your system. Maybe if it has been that way for a few days though you should go get it checked out.

Yes, HHH is right. Clear is healthy and means you are getting enough water. If it freaks you out this much, something else might be wrong so maybe you should see a doctor.

What are you drinking? I find if I drink water or alcohol, mine is clear. But If I drink Diet Coke(just for the taste of it)my pee is yellow. Why is it not the same color as my diet coke?

if you eat one of those PAAS easter egg color tablets, your pee turns whatever color it is. It is funny to give someone a red or blue one without them knowing, they think there is something seriously wrong with them.

Clear = more gooder. Urine is a waste product, and the darker in color (more yellow), the more impurities are being filtered out of your system. The lighter your urine, or if it's clear, usually means that there are less toxins in your body that your kidneys have had to filter out. It's a good thing.

That's what Joe Pee told me anyway.

I drink like water religiously Ikea and I experience the same thing, I happen to be at doctor's for a check up recently and asked em about it...they said is normal. Water will turn your pee clear. The only problem is when the pee is not yellow but more on clearish side with a cloud that is when you have a problem. It would look like there is a fog show that goes along with the pee, that is what to look for. At that point you have to evaluate where you are sticking your wang...Anyone ever have Miso (Not sure is right spelling) Soup from a sushi restaurant?? When you stir that it kicks up something similar to what I am describing...

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on Internet Message Boards. Clear pee should be just fine. You are most likely drinking lots of water.

If you want to do something really entertaining eats lots of asparagus; it will give your pee a funky smell.
