What a bummer for all you outdoor lovers.

Hunters in central Utah hoping to find some deer this weekend stumbled instead on a marijuana farm worth millions growing in the mountains. The pot plant collection is the latest of several discovered in Utah in recent weeks, this one estimated to contain several thousand plants, according to KSL-TV.One hunter described the scene as “quite an operation” complete with a pressurized watering system using a spring from the mountain itself, KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reported. The hunters also found two men watering the plants, one allegedly armed with a handgun, who police believe were actually living at the site and guarding the operation, the station reported. When police approached, the suspects “grabbed what they could and took off running” — but eventually Jose Rodriguez and Cesar Duran-Frias and were arrested, Sanpete County Sheriff's Sgt. Greg Peterson told KSL-TV.

Yet if it were a moonshine operation they never would have reported it. Damn double standards. Pot isn't nearly as harmful as alcohol.

Sgt Peterson then went home and quietly killed and hid the body of his third wife.

Fucking fantastic! That's just my fuckin luck..
Right when I'm getting ready to retire the the price of weed quadruples..
I guess I'll just tread water with some smack until the price of ganja comes back down to earth..

If there's any good to come out of this whole big mess it might be that all the second generation Coke whores (you know who you are..If you mom has breast implants and collagen lips, you're a 2G coke whore) will be giving blow jobs in the men's room again..But now it will be for just a pull off your Philly..
Nicey-nice..

I doubt it. This was in Utah. The hunters were probably mormons.

a bust every now and then is par for the course. think about all the harvests that these guys already got away with, and all of the farms out there that haven't been found.

Indeed, Latino growth in the state has been fast and furious. Between 1990 and 2000, Utah's Hispanic population increased 138 percent - growing more than twice as fast as the Hispanic population nationwide, the Utah Office of Ethnic Affairs points out.
As of 2004, Utah's Latino population totaled 249,100, with 76 percent of Hispanics of Mexican origin. Distel says there are currently 306,000 documented Hispanics in the state, mainly along the Wasatch Front - the urbanized area that includes Salt Lake City, Ogden and Provo.
Furthermore, Distel says, 72 percent of the Hispanic population is in the adults 18-34 demographic - an important one for marketers. Given fertility rates and continued immigration, Utah's Latino population is expected to top 425,000 by 2015 and surpass 530,000 by 2020.

In addition, the 2006 US Census listed the Hispanic population of Utah at 11.2%.

Yeah my point still is the state is 93% white, while most states are only 80% white.

And also they were in the hills, which changes the demographics drastically.

They must be counting Hispanics as being white. The same source lists whites at 93.5% and Hispanics at 11.2%. The numbers don't add up.
