I hope this thread gets ESD to reply. He's very funny but also a damn nice guy. I was on 57th between 6th and 7th on Thursday around noon and had some free time. I thought I would just stop by the studio to see if I could get in. The front door guard ask me where I was going and I said XM. He just told me to go ahead and I went up the elevator. Just as I was walking to the studio door, Dave walked out. I asked him if I could come in and watch the show. He very nicely said that there is required paperwork to be in the audience and it is too late for that day but the following day would be fine. That didn't work for me so I didn't follow up. It did dawn on me how easy it would be to go into the studio. As Dave and I talked, several young kids who I assume were interns walked in and out of the studio. Anyone could easily follow one in. Just imagine if I was some weird stalker guy who spends hours on ronfez.net going over people's profiles. I could have probably walked right into the studio and started spouting off anti-Dave hatred.

I'm with u as I stated that people were going over the top, but then SP1 just added to it with his personal attack on spittle hippo. People do however have to allow others to have a less than popular opinion without flipping out. SP1 didn't have a ton of class in his argument, but I'd offer that the responses to it were even worse by some long time posters.

Actually, using your stats, ESD is 2.5 out of 4.5.
Not speaking to you has no relevance to whether ESD is funny.
Letting a subscription lapse also has no relevance unless it can be connected directly to ESD.
You didn't mention if your GF had her own subscription, so for now I will assume that she is sharing your 1/2 share.
"Refuses to speak to me anymore", if you told this person that you also disliked ESD why would they stop talking to you? It doesn't make sense. You don't make sense.
You don't have to like ESD, but your "doesn't appeal to people with brain" made you lose any credibility you may have had left.
I have a brain, if tests and academic achievement are an indicator, and while I initially found ESD annoying, he grew on me and now I love his act. He is not perfect, but as far as radio personalities go, he does a great job.
