His attitude toward blacks seems to be just part of his hatred for people and pathological fantasies of hurting someone. He seems to have an equal opportunity approach toward wanting to kill people. He seems to have equal hate for drivers who are keeping him from driving as fast as he wants, politically correct liberals, or people he imagines will break into his house. I think his character (don't know about the real guy) is just as insane as Fez...well, maybe not that much but his fortress and arsenal don't come anywhere matching the actual chances of being broken into in Long Island. He reminds me of a type of person I knew when I was in the army who dreams that one day they can legally and justifiably blow someone's head off - white, black, Asian, or especially Arab.
Having said that, I do find his joke about saying 'nigger' but being bleeped boring, stupid, and not funny.

See, I consider racists to mostly be members of the KKK or the Nazi party or any extremist Islamic group who actively hope to eliminate anyone different from themselves. I do not consider Tony C to be one of those people so I do not personally think he's racist. I read a book about ten years ago called "Paved with good intentions". It was filled with the kind of facts Ant likes to qoute, crime stats and such. Can a book full of statistical truth be called racist? Is the fact that the focus of the book is clearly on the negative racist? I don't know, it seems that we live in a world where even when the evidence points one way, its wrong to know about it. We're all tilted one way or the other, that shouldn't be our defining trait.

You can use one set of statistics and make it look like your business is on an upswing, and use a totally different set of statistics to argue that your business is going to collapse in the near future.

Statistics can tell the truth, but they rarely tell the whole story. Anthony seems to be a man full of fear who has allowed his statistical research to reinforce his way of thinking.

Just to compare the differences between the two shows when fan opinions "get" to the radio hosts...

Anyone remember that time the director of 3 Kings called Lilly Tomlin a cunt? Some guy called in and started saying smugly that she deserved it then started yelling "RINGY DINGY" at which point Ron lost his shit called the guy an asshole, told him to fuck himself, and ripped him a new asshole with about 3 additional sentences. Then he hung up on the guy and it was over. Never heard about it again.

But if you call someone a piece of garbage everyday, or call them names that devalue them as people, yea, that's gonna get to you after awhile. Then if others join in, yea, that's gonna hurt too.

I like the way Ant worded it. He's not racist he's just statistically aware. If 95% of the home invasions are perpetrated by young black guys, you wouldn't get real nervous when a little old lady knocks on your door, but when a group of black gang bangers are circling the block if you're smart (like prof. Anthony) you know you should have your firearm cocked and ready to go, if you want to stay alive. At least Anthony doesn't prejudge every black person he meets. I'd say he's more of realist. If you look at the statistics Anthony is right on. A disproportionate number of black people are on the streets committing crime or in prison. I didn't get the multimillion dollar contracts but I'm just as statistically aware as Anthony. I read the same papers, and watch the same news stories. And you can't blame the media for printing the stories. My local paper prints the police blotter with every crime that police investigate or make an arrest in. In a suburban area with less than 700 blacks out of 400,000 people, most of the people arrested are black, with a small number of whites, hispanics, and indians thrown in. If that's not disproportionate nothing is.

Everyone has some racism. People distrust people that are different from them. White people hate black people, Blacks hate Hispanics, and Hispanics hate Asians, everyone hates Indians and Muslims, and the Greeks and Turkish people everyone else, as well as each other. And I almost forgot rednecks, and Muslims hate Jews, and as far as I know the Jews are just a self-hating bunch. Hell, black people break themselves up by shades of black. They fight with lighter skinned or what they call "high yellow" blacks, and even they distrust the black as tar blacks because they can't see them at night either . Most stereotypes are based on facts and people distrust people that look or act different than them.

Yeah I noticed that too. I'm kind of new to the whole message board thing, and mostly just lurk on them when there's absolutely nothing to do at work. But, I've kind of been turned off wackbag. A good chunk of the posters just come off as outrageously racist and uneducated. I don't know if it's just to back Anthony or if it's genuine.

Perfectly said, Ant has been boring, repetitive, and wrong. If he were still a tin knocker and was spouting this on a job site over and over again he would be told to shutup or go home. He is a funny guy and a big part of the shows success but he is just right out of his mind when it comes to race. And it's ignorant of history. Read a little more about the colonization of Africa. Europeans went in there, raped the land of its resources, and treated the natives like shit, giving them no part of the wealth they created, and no say on how they were governed. And then they just left. They just said, "You're independent now, good luck, bros." And they left no infrastructure behind, gave no real assistance to this process. They just let them go.

I mean, this doesn't excuse everything that's going on there -- bullshit like what's going on in Zimbabwe now has as much to do with black corruption as the legacy of colonisation. But these countries came into being already at a disadvantage.

When the coastal African tribes initially dealt with European and Arab slade traders, it was under the perception that the foreigners had the same standards of slavery.
