It isn't just the venal tone to his whining or the uber-underinformed conclusions he has jumped to that is getting to me - it is the fact that his rantings are just not funny or entertaining in even a cringe way. I think we've discovered Willie Mays' weakness.

Otherwise we have to turn to a Direct Democracy where everybody participates and votes on everything. It just isn't practical with a population larger than a small town.

And they called FDR a Socialist too, but the policies he fostered helped pull the US out of the Great Depression. Sure, WWII was really what pulled us out of the Depression, but the US did a lot better under FDR.

Even if they increase taxes on the Upper Class to continue to pay for government expenditures, they can more easily afford to take the hit. The government isn't redistributing funds - there aren't going to be any checks cut to middle/lower class families. Those groups just get to keep more of the money they earn because their taxes will be lower. :wallbash:
