I completely agree. Madsen is my all-time favorite O&A interview and he is smart and hilarious. Gary Busey and Stephen Baldwin are way more insane than Madsen. Busey is fully mental. Have you seen this season's Celebrity Rehab? Seriously, he's a danger to others and himself. Baldwin doesn't need the straightjacket like Busey does but he is just a couple of steps behind him in the nut race.

Another Hollywood phoney. He debated Ron Paul about marijuana legalization and came off looking like a buffoon. Same tired gateway drug argument. Ugh. Just because he cant handle his cocaine and heroin, he doesn't think anyone can smoke a J and not go crazy. I use medical marijuana and I don't care what anybody says. i like when stevie comes in studio because it makes me realize that there other people out there just as crazy as my father. i cant understand what is going on in their head but at least my dad isnt the only one that is a religious fanatic. brings a bit of comfort to me. i wont get into it, but my father is an insane religious person. nut it works for him. hes content with ignorance. which is hard for me to see since im an atheist.

Baldwin was a simpleton the other day. He is a classic example of why - with a few very rare examples - people should never listen to what actors say privately.

What he's literally good at is speaking: using words and making them sound convincing. Too often we equate that with intelligence, but that's not the case. He's reading lines, and using his skill to try to make it sound normal.

Any time he was asked to deviate from that script: Ronnie asks him about his gay friends, asks him if Jesus is a Democrat or Republican, Baldwin has no answer. He's skilled enough to realize it's better for him to skim past the issue entirely and not sound like a total nutjob, but there's no depth there. It's all a script, and Ronnie B. knows that he can't really push him off script too far because that's like teasing a retard.

A very charming retard.
