Walked right in, signed in, voted, walked out. But then I went at like 6:20.

Got out of my car at 6:55, 1 person in front of me (who was in the wrong line anyway), voted, back in car at 7:02.
This was the first time I went in morning ... I don't think I will go back to the afternoon.

The first three times, less than 10 minutes. The last five it took about 20 minutes each.
Go Obama!!!

10 minutes this morning. And the only reason I had to wait was because the polling place was tiny.
But I've never had to wait in the afternoons, either. I guess I usually go to vote at weird hours.

Zero seconds.
Walked in, signed some things, said hi to my neighbor, voted and walked out.
Somehow it always feels good to vote.
about 5 minutes. I walked in at 7AM and was 3rd on line.

Walked right up to the table for my district, signed in, voted (with my 13-year old son) and left.
For other districts in my polling place, the lines went about 30 people deep.
15 minutes. No big whoop.

Lucky bastards.
As I exited the booth I ran into our own Earlshog on line. He asked if there was a "Pee In My Butt" option.
Gave me a much needed laugh after waiting an hour and twenty minutes.

Thanks for the title update, mod, much better. Did you get my PM yesterday Tub?
20 minutes, but 10 of that was because I got there early and the doors weren't open yet.
And there were no "I Voted" stickers available. Booo :glurps:

I don't know if you were there for the splitting of the lines, when there wasn't supposed to be... oh boy... that made people happy.

Walked into my polling place and was like "fuck" I have never seen this place so crowded. Went to front desk gave them address, guy says 37th ED. Look over, one person in line for that district. Still in line for a while because this one guy was taking pictures inside the booth with his i-phone. Total time maybe 15 minutes but the PTA was having a cookie and coffee bake sale

If you live in a white suburban neighborhood, 5 minutes

I went at 7am, there were 2 people ahead of me and it didn't even take more than 2-3 minutes wait.
I do, however, live in a white suburban neighborhood.
YAY VOTING!!!

I didn't have to wait at all. I guess the weeks of four hour lines for early voting paid off for lazy assholes like me.

I think I spent more time trying to figure out where my street name fell in the alphabet than I did waiting/voting
girl scout cookies were provided for a nominal fee 75ft from the polling place

From the time I walked into the school to the time I walked out, less then 5 minutes. Morning voters don't play around, we know who and what is on the ballot, and sign the book, walk into the booth, *click click click* and hit "vote" and then goto work.
Lucky bastards.

Looks like we are the long ones, 2 hours for me. I wrote in half of the people on my ballots because I dont like any of the people on the ballots, I was serious on the senate seats since I dont want anyone having a majority to over ride a vote.

I got word that at 7am, the line was out the elementary school to the sidewalk - then down the sidewalk - then around the corner...
I awoke at 3pm took a drive over and waited about 10 min's.

There were 3 people in line to check in in front of me. Once I got my card, I walked right up to an open machine. In all, I'd say about 3 minutes.

Ooooh, I misunderstood.
Yea, I walked up to my usual table, signed in, turned around to an open machine, did my thing and was out in 2 minutes.
Not a huge turn out when I was there I guess.

His district is Compton.

Mine went so fast, because my county is very good at preparing for elections and the districts are small. They averaged one machine for every 300 voters, and when I signed in, I was only the 218th voter in the J-M range of the alphabet.
