I had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff (they said I couldnt do it at my age) and tighten up the ligaments and this was about 12/05. I am experiencing some slippage again and I was wondering what sort of stretches/toning stuff I should be doing to try to not have it worked on again. All help is appreciated, you're the best.

I've got PA John working on this one, Jauble! As soon as his lazy ass sends me the answer, I'll post it! :-)

PA JOHN REPLIES:
"start with light weights and go from there. If you had surgey in 2005, you should have had therapy. If you did, just repeat those exercises, if not, you might want to get some new therapy orders and do some physical therapy. Go with light weights...the rotator cuff muscles are small and do not need a lot of weight to work them out.

here are some exercises to do.
If it still bothers you 3-4 weeks in, you need to be evaluated by an orthopaedic dr. and may need an injection of steroids.
hope this helps
PA John"
