CT and Jivin Petition

as a fan of CT and Jivin and a huge fan of the Virus XM 202/SIR197 and all its programming, i would like to say that a CT and Jivin live show from 3pm-6 or 7pm would be absolutely amazing. if you agree, please leave a nice message informing anyone who reads it that you would enjoy such a show. if you disagree, please leave a mean and berating message for anyone who reads it.

I am not trying to be an outright jerk here, but I think it would probably serve you better to shoot a little lower at first. Maybe pushing for a weekly show on Saturday or Sunday afternoon (or evening) so CT & Jivin can get a little more airtime under their belts and build up a more solid fanbase.

I'm sorry, sir, but there are at least a half-dozen shows that I would rather have on the channel in a regular slot before CT & Jivin. Right now they are OK for an occasional weekend show, but far from getting a regular daily gig on Sirius/XM.

it gives the one hour change over/extra time for R&F, and it would also start the O&A replay at 7pm for a longer run time than they have now for the replay.

all the pegs are falling into position. im not good at finding the names or phone numbers needed to make things happen. im an idea guy and do-er, not a finder....i tried and failed to find anything.

can someone who doesnt suck help me find the proper contact info for sirius/xm.

they were given that shot at FreeFM before they flipped the format on them. i think that any team that can do 2 and half hour shows once a week without "radio bits" as to say. (i mean like hacky bits or interviews.) i think they do an interesting and humorous show, and with some resources behind them, they would really be able to shine....

My suggestion would be to do 1 full length O&A Replay instead of the 2 compacted ones, start the R&F replay earlier, then give CT&J Midnight to 3/4. They are a better night, drunk/stoned show. (And if you don't like them you can just put it on so it will put you to sleep)

R&F, when they did nights and late nights at NEW were an AMAZING drunk/stoned show. look how well they do wherever they are. i think CT & Jivin would be the same way.

i think Xm should set aside like 6 hours on weekends for some podcasts and get a few shows some airtime .....i think the Experience with Don Stugots would be good listening also

Any constant reliable weekly time would be sweet. even daily. I could listen to CT & Jivin every day. But any regular time gig would be the best. Even other podcasts and shows on XM are stealing thier phone message idea. CT & Jivin are on top of the game. Pioneers in a sense. Then dave stole the Trailer Park segment. He didn't do as bad at least but it was still the worst.

I'm just kidding; I don't hate the show. In fact, I like parts of it and am willing to give it a little more time. However, no way are they ready for a daily show. Be happy with weekly for now; not even Kevin Smith could hold onto that. :bye:

persistence is key my friend, and this was a shot at Sam for today on the air. i understand that a daily show is unlikely, but if you dont try at all, you wont get anything. at least this way they might end up with a regular gig of some sort....if not 202, or even satellite, then somewhere. like i said, im just a huge fan of their show and want to help in any way i can to get them further along.
