Who is the most famous person that you've had actual physical contact with? Like many people I've seen my share of celebrities and famous people, in person, in my lifetime, but I'm talking about actually physically touching said people.
Now, I've shaken hands with Ron and Fez, and while they might be a big deal to me and all of us here I don't know if they are that recognizable to 99% of the public. So, I thought about it and came up with Jon Corzine and John Madden, both of whom I shook hands with, as the two most famous. Of the two I'd have to say that I guess John Madden would have the greater fame.
Pretty pathetic that he's the best I could come up with in my nearly 40 years on this Earth. Or, maybe it's more pathetic that this is the kind of stuff that I spend my time thinking about. So, who do you got?

Touching Greatness? Sounds like my usual Saturday night, when I return home alone.
But ok, I've got Mr Bennington, Chris Ferguson, Mayor Bloomberg, PC Ray Kelly, Charlie Rangel, and several members of RonFez.net.
I'm not big on bothering people for pics, autographs, or handshakes, but these are the lucky ones.

I have a picture of myself many years ago with christopher kringle. he was at a local mall here in canada and I guess had some extra time to do some photos with us kids.
I do believe he goes by the name of santa to evade the paparazzi

I've touched a lot of famous people, but I wouldn't say they are greater than most people I know and consider friends. Yea, they've got cooler jobs but that's about it.
Funny you brought this up, because I felt great last weekend when a cab driver asked me for my autograph. "Why?" I asked and he said "Because you're famous!" I told him he was mistaken but he insisted I was being coy and that he didn't know my name but he had seen my face "on the television".
So I signed his calendar book. Somewhere in April I think it was. I've had some random bizarre cab rides but that was the strangest.

I've had several brushes with famous people. One of my fraternity brothers was Chris Cuomo, now a host on Good Morning America. One of my wife's good friends was a personal assistant for Sean Puffy Combs, and was one of the judges on his recent rip-off of the Apprentice. Through that relationship, she went to a number of Puff Daddy parties and met Jennifer Lopez and Puffy in her apartment back in the day. I went one of his parties and saw the Hilton sister among others.

I met John Corzine, John McCain and stupid Jim Cramer, does he even count? On a lesser scale I met former Hockey goon Darren Langdon and fox sports' Chris Myers at Mustang Sally's after a Rangers game.

i actually got to shake hands today with Michael Douglas, Jenna Fischer, and Susan Sarandon!! they are filming the movie Solitary Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1294213/) at my school, Fordham University! It was really crazy. Jenna Fischer is just damn hot in person, Michael Douglas is damn tiny, and age has not been good to ol' Susan Sarandon.

I shook hands with and had a short conversation with Billy Joel on the streets of Easthampton NY. He was admiring the automatic donut maker at Dreesens Market. On the same weekend July 4th 07 I was at a light when JayZ pulled up in a powder blue 60's Cadillac. Rolled down the window gave him a "nice ride"
JayZ: "Thanks"
drjoek" : "Happy 4th"
Jay Z "you too"
Light changes off he went

Damn, I walked by Edwards Parade yesterday but they were filming a "fight" scene and had stand-ions out there. I was hoping to see Jenna.
