No, unfortunately homosexual marriages/civil unions are only legal in the state where they are approved - they aren't legally recognized by other states. If they moved to CT it would be OK, but the legal standing doesn't transfer.

The rights of soldiers aren't being impinged; they just aren't getting the respect they are due or the extent of care and governmental support they should.

Eventually, their identities as gay people solidified and they gained perspective, but at first everything was about being gay.
