In regards to Fridays show,I would like to thank each and every veteran for their service protecting our great country,the United States of America.Your sacrifice is great.

I was able to catch the first 90 minutes of the show. When you went to break I was utterly disgusted with Fez's remarks comparing Veterans issues to Gay's issues.I have been a listener since you appeared on xm.This is the first time I had to change the channel.Fez, the rants you went on did more damage to your cause than you can imagine.If this will be the new format you will lose me as a listener.Fez,when you went to 4 winds that day as Ron and the crew gave you hugs and wished you the best,I had tears running down my cheeks.After fridays show I am truely disgusted !!! If you want the law changed go to Washington, D.C. and bitch,keep it off the Ron and Fez show.

You should listen to the show more. In your defense, since you've only been listening since they came to XM, your understanding of the show is somewhat stented... Um... I mean stunted.

I think it was Knox Harrington who made an excellent point during Friday's listening thread. Fez is a lot like those gay college students who come out during their freshman year. He has that same emotional outrage, tribal identification, and fixation on gay issues. I guess it comes from feeling different your whole life and then suddenly having a group membership that makes you feel as though you finally belong.

I served as a company commander of an army intel unit and we lost a soldier in Iraq. I didn't find Fez's equating what vets go through and gay rights offensive. I disagreed with what he said and I think the argument was very apples and oranges but it didn't make me angry. I really like Fez and cut the guy tons of slack. The poor guy has only just come out and is understandably emotional and a bit irrational. I'm just glad he finally came out. He has announced that he is gay, right?

but if i had to choose between quiet/crying fez...and crazy pro-gay anti-prop 8 fez....
I am not picking quiet/crying fez.......
He was always sobbing and afraid of everything.
Now he seems happier stronger and he actually makes jokes.
Before for a long time fez never jokes...said Yea...Your right and that was his comments for the day.
He is a lot less nervous.
Good for Fezzie.
I know a lot of veterans were upset with fezzie's idea.
ron's design for the show is not make a point ...agree...make another point...agree....
Ron wants conflict and diversity and opinions..
Remember when ronnie said...here let me run over to your side of the net and hit it back to me...he is giving hints he wants a back and forth dialogue.
Fezzie is finally disagreeing with everyone and you know what that is okay.
Fezzie is entitled to his own opinion.
I don't have to agree with everything I hear on the ron and fez show.
I listen because I laugh out loud...literally.
I sit in a cube for 40 hours a week. My job is boring.
And Ron and Fez are absolutely the highlight of my day.
They entertain me.

I know that Fez did turn it into a bit as the show went on but he seemed to genuinely care about Prop 8. Is the whole thing a bit and he really doesn't give a rat's ass about gay marriage? I am starting to think 'Fez' is a completely made-up character. Once the show is over, Todd goes back to his wife and two kids in Montclair and 'Fez' only re-appears the next day at 12Noon.

Nobody ever called the cops, the media never repoprted it or were contacted on any level, none of the attackers were ever caught. It's an interesting urban legend that thousands of people will swear happened to them or that they witnessed, almost always in very public and very crowded places with a lot of activity.

I'm not pointing this out trying to slam veterans who say it definitely happened. It makes perfect sense why this story would catch on, because it perfectly boils down the feelings a lot of this guys had and still have in regards to the Vietnam War and Vietnam-era America. It's not a "bad" thing in any way.

And I'm not saying it never happened in some variation. Such social phenomenons typically have some absis in reality. I wouldn't be surprised if some version of this happened once or twice or even a handful of times...but it's all but impossible it happened as the epidemic all of the claim stories make it out to be,

I wonder if the bit went down differently because we're not really used to hearing Fezzie run with a bit the same way Ronnie does. I mean, Ronnie can say pretty much anything, and people think "Hmm, wonder what the gimmick here is." But Fezzie doesn't do that, usually, and I wonder if that's why he was getting a much rawer, visceral reaction to what he was saying than Ronnie does in these matters.

The slippery slope points back up and, like Kate Bush warned, we'll be running up that hill and careening down the other side as gay people are further treated as second class because of the gateway abuse of refusing the right to marry. It's like 'if ya can't kill 'em and ya can't join 'em, then slowly ostracize 'em from society by bringing into question their humanity.' Not being allowed to be openly gay in the military AND not being allowed same sex marriage is enough rights lacking to feel tread upon.

And what, really, is so evil about polygamy and incest? What happens if you fall in love with all your brothers? Is it fair to marry just one?

Beats me. I don't care if people want to marry a bunch of other people. For better or for worse, it has a negative connotation and it's so obviously not the same thing as gay marriage, so when someone brings it up like it's the same thing, they're wrong.
