I have got to say that Ron is talking some BS there. I am on meds because I need to be; I tried everything else I could but my body simply doesn't process brain chemicals correctly and I need artificial means to make it happen.

It is like saying a Type 1 diabetic is a douchebag for taking insulin. You HAVE to if you want to live a normal life.

I will readily admit that many people take anti-depressants and other such drugs just because they are told to or they don't want to work on their problems. That is ridiculous. However, there are some people (like me) where it is medically necessary.

"Rube"is a real person. A whileback he was down in Fl. visiting his family and since wqe knew each other from growing up in New Hampshire, we keept in touch and he came to visit me. yeah, it was horrible. At around mile 14 the marathon went through a Philly park near a river. There were a lot of people and their kids with these horrible signs of cut up fetuses yelling at us as we ran by. This was back in 2003 and there were lots of compaints so maybe they aren't allowed to do it any more.

I think the problem with all the shows they throw into the timeslot not just S&D (whom I admit Im not unbiased about)is that they play the shows like they are part of the Ron and Fez or O&A show not individual shows on their own. They need to establish that they belong on the air not just play the same characters they do on the other shows. I caught heat for posting it yesterday but it really is "No Commercial Potential" (real esoteric reference that noone but myself got to the first Mothers of Invention album). If they expect to be on the air they have to appeal to someone besides us the loyal posters on ronfez.net and wackbag if they want to get on the air more.

I just don't really see them plugging into an afternoon time slot in an unknown city and taking off. So this time Dr, we'll have to agree to agree.

Although, I think Uninformed could stand on it's own merit, so not necessarliy all of the SNV shows fall into the trap of being 202 fan exclusive.

The first time I turned on a Sam and Than show,before I was real familiar with the whole thing I thought I was listening to a real bad College radio show that I did years ago and not in the, so bad its is good way. I wanted to call up and cancel paying for subscription radio, bad. I get it now that it has its place still dont think its good but so what. Radio is a consolidating industry not expanding so I don't see as how this works outside entertaining us who love it already
