View Full Version : Fez's Odd Eating Habits
GregoryJoseph

Fez eats all of his food in a particular order, never mixing. For example, at a typical Thanksgiving dinner he'd eat all of the turkey on his plate first, then move on to the sweet potatoes, then he'd polish off the carrots, the corn, and finally the stuffing, never even sampling one of the sides before completely finishing the other. Then he drinks his beverage as a kind of palate cleanser, not daring to take a sip until his plate is clean.
Is this the dining style of a madman, or is there anyone here with a similar eating OCD?

My eating habits are pretty similar, only I don't save my entire beverage until I'm done. That's nutty.
And, sweet potatoes are fantastic.

Back in the day, someone here *ahem* would make fun of me for turning my plate as I finished each portion. I don't know why I do it, but I still do it to this day.

Except for the drink thing that's how I've always eaten. It's not an OCD thing where I'll freak out if I don't finish every last piece of corn before moving on to mashed potatoes but it always seemed natural to finish one 'section' of the plate before moving on to the next. There's no set order but I'll eat a warm dish first just because I don't want it to cool off.

I thought it was some kind of law that you had to mix any vegetable on your plate with mashed potatoes. How else could you mask their awful flavor?

if you really think about it, he always stays loyal to his one food side, never ventures out in checking out the other food (or gender)...hmmmm
i am the opposite of fez, i like having something different in each bite. a bite of burger, a bite of fries and then some coke..i never went to have the same bite in a row
anyway, at the end of the day, fez's segmented eating is nowhere near as weird as him putting his pizza in the freezer after its freshly delivered. You gotta eat a fresh pizza hot!

I'm a straight guy and have basically the same eating style as Fez.
I eat one food at a time, then turn my plate to the next portion. I also never have a drink until after I'm finished or just not have one at all.

I eat just like Fez does. I have my whole life. It used to really piss off my grandma when I was a kid. She would try to force me to eat one bite of peas, then pork chop, then carrots. Those old people know that how you eat your peas is tied to sucking cock so I understand her need to have me eat like a hetero. It worked and now I am happily married. I do like a threesome though. As long as I get some cock, I'm OK.

Sweet corn? Green beans sauteed with onions and mushrooms? Fresh spinach?
There are some who would call you mentally unstable.

My Dad has to have certain foods in separate bowls. He doesn't like them to mix. He can have, like, turkey and potatoes on the same plate, cause they're not runny or anything and won't mix on his plate. We tease him about it, but I can kinda see his point. Who wants a soggy roll that has corn juice on it?

corn on the cob i like on a separate plate usually cause i want it slathered in butter & salt. i'll usually keep whatever roll or biscuit separate too. but every thing else is fine.
mixing mashed potatoes with anything is just fantastic. especially corn niblets or meat.

Just so we are all on the same page when the investigators ask, just kidding about the threesome and cocks. Just because I eat my peas and then carrots and finally the meat, doesn't make me gay.

I eat my food like fez, except for the drink part. I drink throughout my whole meal. Another thing i do, is that I like to keep my foods from touching each other on the plate. Like at thanksgiving, I can't have my potatoes touching the turkey or anything else on the plate.

I don't get the drinking throughout a meal thing... a sip here and there if it's dry food... ok, but several sodas for example make no sense... they fill you up and leave you thirsty...
A glass of wine is different, it enhances the flavor of the food, soda just washes it down and covers up any good flavors...

so, you're saying that unless you're drinking wine, (which i hear is most of the time) you wait until you're done eating to drink just like fez?

I do it. I've been told by my dad that I have the same pattern his grandfather has which is I literally eat one part of the meal, then turn the plate and eat that part, then turn to the last, or however many. My chick makes fun of me for it, I don't care, doesn't seem weird, but I have many, many OCDs. Fez is not alone in this department.

I'm the opposite of Fez. I like to space everything out so that i finish my meal with one last bite of each of the meal's components.
I also don't like my foods touching. I'm not as bad as i was as a kid, but i'll still use a side plate if there's something i don't want to gravy all over, for example. i get kinda grossed out when people just slop all of their food together on the plate. they might as well just throw everything in a trough and eat like a pig.

When I was a kid, at Thanksgiving, I had to have a little bit of each food on my fork at once. That way, I had the complete Thanksgiving experience with each bite.

I can't believe that people eat this way. My wife makes this dish: white rice, ground chicken w/ a sweet brown sauce and egg. Separately the three are average, but combined they are fucking amazing. Stop being so weird, you're all missing out.

pretty much... but I never finish a drink anyway...
and I only have wine with a meal if I go out or make something special..
it annoys me when my son washes down every bite with a sip of juice or water... ugh, especially when the food is still in the mouth when he takes the sip... eeeww

eh, it's disgusting when he uses a straw and then half the food end up in the glass... and then he wants to share his drink...
but if I didn't cut him some slack I would not let him drink... so it's all good, just disgusting to me :D

I would eat that. If the food is served like that I have no problem, but if the chicken was made separately from the rice then I eat them as 2 different portions, one at a time.
Buncha weirdos here, I see.
When you make a sandwich, do you cut in down the middle or on a diagonal?
Does it matter?
RoseBlood

Cutting a sandwhich down the middle is barbaric. Cut it diagonally or don't cut it at all.
My preference is to cut it diagonally (once) and then start taking bites at each corner, eating the middle last. So, it's: corner, corner, middle.. corner, corner, middle; I usually eat the left corner first.
I don't like to eat the center first, like little kids do; the sides of the sandwhich touch your face

And I suppose you don't even bother with the bread?
Let me guess, you swing open the fridge door, tear into the deli meat packages and just pick with your savage hands. You probably don't even have the patience to pick up a whole piece of cheese or meat; just eating whatever meat comes up, leaving bits and pieces of half torn food for the next person to try to pick through?

But Fez lost cable and internet a month ago. So, he stays in the offices late. And, enters people's offices to eat their candy.
There is no way he is going to a shrink.
