MARYSVILLE -- A 42-year-old man told police that he accidentally shot and killed his 6-year- old daughter Sunday after drinking double vodkas while cleaning guns.

Stormy Peters was shot in the head and died after being flown to Seattle Children's hospital.

this story reminded me of when ronnie was talking about how people judge the guy but dont realize it was an accident...imagine what he is also going through

sure he is an idiot and we've all been drunk and done something stupid and felt really bad about it...imagine killing your daughter...sucks for everyone in this situation

also...who names their daughter stormy peters? sounds like a porn name

I read a story yesterday about a hunter from Queens in upstate New York was hunting and one of the shots he fired went through a trailer's wall and killed a little kid. The hunter himself had just lost his own daughter a few years ago (I don't recall how).

Needless to say... a terrible tragedy. Accidents do happen. Shit happens.

But you don't drink and clean your guns. That's just stupidity. Yea, we've all been drunk... but most of us keep a good amount of common sense in focus. If you can't, you shouldn't be drinking in the first place.

As long as guns can shoot, things will die.

As long as guns can shoot, things will die.

as long as cars are 3,000 pounds people will die...
as long as food is big enough to choke you people will die...
as long as fires are hot people will die...

stupid argument

i wouldnt call this an accident. i would consider this more negligent than anything.
an accident is you spill wine on your carpet after your fifth drink.
negligent is handling something loaded with projectiles after your fifth drink.

Legally I don't think it's considered an accident when someone drinks double vodkas while cleaning a gun especially when there is a fucking 6-YR-OLD in the house. Its easy to be self-righteous after something like this happens but this guy, clearly, had no business being in the presence of a child.
