His smartass gimmick has been making me laugh for a few weeks now. I don't know how he deadpans it during his street interviews. I can't believe he kept it together when he asked about the Blackberry Storm's contribution to the transgender community.

Now if he would just get a real co host instead of a retard he may actually have a show, as it is SD is unlistenable whenever hes not speaking.

Sam still wears the Spoon Sanctioned WWE Spinner Belt baby!

Way better than a dry Don Rigo.

Sam is a great smart ass, I'm not sure he is a great host.
I'm trying to enjoy Special delivery and at times does make me laugh but it is missing the flow that makes it can't turn it off radio, like R&F and O&A.
I really think Dave tries to hard and should just go with the flow instead of being out of control.

Have to agree with you on that one. Ron subdues Dave a little bit during normal conversation which works better than Dave's constant yelling and confusion on Sam and Dave. Sometimes just act like a person.

However last show, Sam was a little too subdued. There wasn't much sarcasm, and during the biclops bit he was channeling Intern David with his "whoas" and "scary."

im in, the kids gold. Not on his own, not with dave, but his live bits, man on the street, and instudio sarcastic commentary is always on point, he always kills ant, never bombs.

Seriously, I think he is great when there are other people for him to play off of. He is not bad on Special Delivery, but much better on O&A and when he is on Ron and Fez.

Just bumping this thread.

Sam fucking killed today on the show. I was crying from laughing so hard when he was talking to the Sirius(xm) people.

I don't usually care for what Sam brings to the O&A show but I do have to give him credit for killing on today's show. His hallway interviews of the sirius employees in the new building were great.

Count me in, I love the man, but it's been a couple of years now my friend not just weeks, though I have noticed of late he's refined it, and I hate breaking down comedy cause it always sounds so pretentious, but he's really seemed to hone is craft, I'll leave it there so as to not sound any more film student douchey. I've never been to film school but I hope you know what I mean.

He's fearless when approaching other people. I think that's why Sam and Dave work so well together, too. They're both completely fearless when approaching strangers and its just so hilarious to hear on air.
