Yeah, I had a rambling call about what Joseph Campbell said about religion and ritual in the Power of Myth interviews. Essentially, religions provide metaphors to help one truly experience life, and rituals help understand and live the metaphors. But religion goes wrong where it tries to treat the metaphors as truth, i.e. God created the world in seven days and created Adam and Eve.

At least that's what my point was. I don't think I expressed it in the best fashion.

What I don't understand is why you're getting so freaking upset by the fact that this site does not allow nudes. IT NEVER HAS. And for some reason, it didn't bother you until recently.

When some at work get's your picture of nipples on there computer or my picture of nipples on there computer it doesn't matter who meant to do it. It was done. That's the end of the means.
Sometimes, when a picture is uploaded just ONCE on a work computer it can mean the job of that person. And that is what you did. You uploaded a nude pic of a girl. Even though it was unbenounced to you, you still did it. And the even though you deleted it, you also deleted mine. So what's the damage done? You posted a nude pic and I did too. But, I got banned for it, because some one could of gotten fired over it. You did not get banned even though some one could of gotten fired over it.

In the end we did the same thing. I got banned and you said oops.

Come on. Everday in our lives, how we treat people's transgressions often depends upon intent, whether it's how you deal with kids, partners, spouses, friends or even strangers. Two people may do the same thing, but if one is done by accident and one is purposefully done, everyone understands that the two will be treated differently, especially if the person who makes the mistake corrects it.

The people who have been banned for posting nude pics lately have been those, who did it on purpose and prior to doing so, kept posting about how they were going to post nudes.
