Juggling later, first, here is a picture of my 11 ft wingspan kite. It is about 50 feet from nose to tail.

Here is is at about 300 ft. with 2 line poppers

Stunt kite pics and videos still to come. Juggling, too, later.

OK, what is the purpose of the "line popper" and how does it work?

Obviously it is an umbrella/parachute type thing that travels up and down the line, but why and what causes it to collapse and travel back down the string?

That is a delta.

I feel silly, now that I look at the kite it is quite obvious it is a delta wing, I am just not used to seeing such fancy hard ware. My kite experience consists of buying a 1 dollar kite with a cartoon character on it and getting it stuck in a tree, charlie brown style.

I once bought a kite from costco and tried flying it out at tofino which is reknowned for good kite flying. It didn't work worth a shit, it keep dive bombing into things. An old asian gentleman who ran the local kite store was out at the beach and he looked at it and told me it wasn't worth fixing. So I gave it to some east indian types and was done with it.

Once I attached a cheap delta wing kite to a fishing rod and would launch it by casting the rod, it actually worked pretty good, but you needed a pretty good wind for it to work well. A tree ate that kite also. Now I mostly stick to RC planes which I spend too much money on and then crash into farmer's crops.

All of this has convinced me of one thing, RC Nitro trucks are more my style.

It is just for fun. Kind of gives you something to do when you have your kite way up there. The way it works is it basically has two states, closed and open. When it is open, the wind carries it up the line to the main kite. When it hits the main kite it causes it snap closed, at which point, gravity brings it back down the line.

Actually every time we fly kites, kids from all over the neighborhood flock to us. We usually bring 4 or 5 of the supermarket cartoon character diamond kites and let them eff them up (they will almost invariably completely annihilate the string at the very least). This time, too. There were, in fact, several kids present during this session.

I have never seen one of those before; it is very cool. Is there any way to control its movement?

Here is a video I made today of me doing some basic juggling. Three clubs, three balls, four balls, and five balls. I suck at five, I know, shut up.

I guess he would want to punch me in the face too, I laughed at his tough guy attitude. His juggling looked pretty cool though.

At our company christmas party last year they had a hack juggler who would juggle while riding a unicycle and telling jokes. It wasn't funny in the least, and drinking didn't make it funnier either. That's pretty bad when large amounts of alcohol don't make a "funny" man any funnier.

Table hockey is a great past time.

Hash Hockey is a fantastic past time. Courtesy of a great Canadian TV show - Trailer Park Boys.

You mean a Rockumentary.

Actually it is a mockumentary, kind of the same idea as the office, although this show started a couple of years before the british office. It's a really good show actually. I believe I heard Hicks bring it up once saying that Mooch had got him into it.

Sarah flying my 3 Meter(Forgot the brand... PowerKites maybe?) it's the only one she's not afraid of.

I do occasionally see single line kites out on the beach, this is a picture of my reaction to finding out that my kite's "wake" can pull their stakes out of the ground:

Early Christmas present for me: 3 new stage quality juggling balls! I'll eventually get 4 more for a total of 7. Here is how they look with my a new trick I learned in about 20 minutes last night (441 siteswap, it's the first thing in the video):
