He'd make more money. Those guys punching tickets are conductors and start @ around 65K. But hed never make it anyway cause you can't smash your ticket punch and run out of a moving train. Also, what's with all the Earl hate he works good for show chemistry. He's everybodys favorite sad guy. I had the chance to talk to him and I found him to be a really great guy. Just sayin.

He could go back to dedicating his time to hanging pictures, the public file, and most importantly, being the first to get out of the building when there is a fire.

If the feed is coming out from DC, it is the job of the Executive Producer to be on the phone hours beforehand, making absolutely sure the proper info is queued.
I have always tried to support Mr. Douglas, but this is it. I'm done. It's time for Dave or Mooch to step up.

Goodbye sweet potato pie, Hello sweet potato famine!
This made me laugh. Just sayin'
My hand to God, when I first saw this post I was actually going to respond by saying that over the past few months Earl really seems to finally "get it" and has become a real part of the show.
Thankfully I withheld my statement until now.
Today's latest botched 'Best Of' is further evidence of Earl's incompetence.
It's been fun, Earl, and you're a genuinely nice guy. You're just not a good producer.
Or a good leader.
I think it may be time to move on; especially if the finger pointing begins on Monday.
Enough is enough.

I have said before that I don't know Earl personally and he is likely a good person, but I really dislike his work as a producer and don't like hearing him on-air. IMO he should move on.
Time to find a gig at a music channel or station.

I've been out of the loop the last two days doing the family thing. Can someone please give me a Cliffs Notes version of Mr. Douglas' latest shenanigans? Ah Thhhhhank You!

Yesterday the Ron and Fez Thanksgiving special aired. Today we were promised a show that would highlight the bits that led to the creation of some classic Sleeves and Perrynoid songs. Instead, Earl played the Thanksgiving special again, so we never heard the Sleeves show and had to hear the exact same show two days in a row.
Earl says it's DC's fault.
He's full of shit.

When did Earl promise best of stuff? When did earl say it was DC's fault?
If Earl promised certain best-of material BEFORE Mooch and Pixie's admission, he might have replayed it for people who missed it, because a lot of people did miss what happened.

Ron announced on Monday that today we'd hear a best-of featuring the creation of some of the classic songs associated with the show. He even promoted it a few more times after that.
New Lilli posted here today that she'd been told by Earl that today's snafu was DC's fault.

Meh. It is entirely possible that it was, in fact, DC's Fault. I mean, how long has it been since Earl's melted down? And is it really that bad that the Thanksgiving day show was replayed, given the events of what happened?
Remember, DC's lost a ton of people. Maybe the "holiday help" they have down there doesn't know what the hell they are doing.
Call me crazy, but past experience does not lead me to give Earl the benefit of the doubt too often, if ever.

I hate standing up for Bojeebee, but wasn't Wednesday's Best-Of filled with the clips that created songs? Or at least a couple.

Unless Earl punches Mel in the face he'd never get fired. He's a special kind of Affirmative action, and EEOC stupid.

Yeah, Matty is right. It makes perfect sense to replay Thursday's show on Friday, for all of those listeners who can't wait one day for the replays over the weekend.

I want earl fired in the worst way. Ive said many times that ron and fez were hysterical before earl and they'll be hysterical w/o earl. its like they're trying to do it w/ a degree of difficulty which i just cant comprehend.
He can be a friend of the show/racial punching bag, but hes a horrible producer and atrocious on air, get him off.
Sadly this will never happen b/c he refuses to leave and ron and fez would never fire him for gross incompetence, so this is all just a tease to get me excited for monday.
