I still listen. Definitely not a hardcore fan. They do a lot of fun stuff and get a lot of people in the studio I like. Love having them to help me through my daily driving.

I am admittedly more of an R&F fan, though. Sounds odd, but I feel a personal relationship with the show even though I have never met any of them or done any activities. I am considering the PA party though!

The only thing I can say about that is at least Anthony is being up-front about it. He isn't pretending like nothing was done; Ant is throwing his hair restoration out there on the table for everybody to "see."

They continue to air on CBS's NYC rocker WXRK, where they do their show from, and on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. O&A used to air on CBS's DC area talker WJFK, but they got dropped two years ago because of low ratings.....

You could hardly call jill a celebrity, other than NY she isnt well known and the playboy thing? I knew a girl that worked at hooters that was in an special issue not just on the website so that doesnt make her a celebrity, and come on, the girl went psycho, that was some great stories and after he told them it made sense why he cheated. And I thought he was a dumbass for dumping her originally, but those stories made for some of their best radio in a long time. I think ants more educated than you give him credit for, everyone likes to think people are all nice and never act like little shits but when you are in different scenarios and up different hours when they are up you can realize real scum come out.

I will agree today's show felt forced, if it wasn't for jimmy and voss it would have been un-listenable but they saved the day.

It's not to late to change the show and win back critical markets. They have to stop doing the same things and be bit more creative. Also, STOP alienating your listeners. The audience is more diverse than they realize...maybe they should embrace it. I've been listening to Howard a little more lately and one of the things I've noticed is he actually interviews his guest, doesn't cut off callers, and seems to have a genuine affection for his staff. One example that comes to mind is an interview he did with Maureen Macormick(sp) -Marcia Brady- and it was an interesting interview. So she called in to O&A and Opie hung up on her, wtf. O&A seem to be their own worst enemy. I'm sure most of this will be blamed on the lawyer's, management or who hell knows what, but it's never their fault.

The point is that if you want to help reduce terrorism, reducing poverty could help. But once they choose to take part in terrorist action, fuck them.

Actually, I have the Bold and the browser on it has been completely revamped. In the past, the browser was my #1 deterrent. Now it is leaps and bounds better, as is the media player, camera, etc. Very improved devices (Bold and Storm).

But the important thing to recognize is that for the most part, the crusades were carried out by the christians. It wasn't the people of islam faith that made a couple hundred year attempt to convert people to their beliefs. So, inherently there would be resistance ingrained in the islamic faith because of this. It stands true between any major religion. There will always be animosity between them as a result of the leaders making the attempt to become the dominant religion.

It's not to late to change the show and win back critical markets. They have to stop doing the same things and be bit more creative. Also, STOP alienating your listeners. The audience is more diverse than they realize...maybe they should embrace it. I've been listening to Howard a little more lately and one of the things I've noticed is he actually interviews his guest, doesn't cut off callers, and seems to have a genuine affection for his staff. One example that comes to mind is an interview he did with Maureen Macormick(sp) -Marcia Brady- and it was an interesting interview. So she called in to O&A and Opie hung up on her, wtf. O&A seem to be their own worst enemy. I'm sure most of this will be blamed on the lawyer's, management or who hell knows what, but it's never their fault.


Unless you are a friend of the show or someone that a member of the show worships you will most always get a shitty interview from O and A. Howard on the other hand is a very good interviewer, he has a way of talking to people of every walk of life the same and making them feel comfortable. Sure he has his favorites but I think his approach is the same for everyone.

I like Howard but got tired of the self worship. I have listened a few times since XM offered the best of Sirius, and it wasn't bad.

The point is that if you want to help reduce terrorism, reducing poverty could help. But once they choose to take part in terrorist action, fuck them.

One more comment. The fact that the terrorists are attacking western governments means that THEY think that their problems are caused by the West. Just because I noted that poverty is a reason they are more willing to believe radical religious leaders can no way mean that I think their poverty is caused by the west.
