Why didn't audible have the thanksgiving show. I was not near the radio since I was basking in the glow of my family.

Will they have Friday's "song origin" show as well on audible? I really wanted to hear it on Friday only to be disappointed by the rerun...

Somebody on the staff probably didn't send it in before vacation. It has happened before and it usually gets posted sometime on Monday.

The staff and friends of the show tell us what they're thankful for this year. [Broadcast Date: November 27, 2008] For Adults Only: Explicit language. Must be 18 years of age to purchase.

The link for Friday's show on audible says:
"The guys are off today so we present this archival show:
We talk about an act of sportsmanship that helps an opposing team win. Bob Costas did a show about sports media. We discuss sports talk radio and the impact it has on sports. How much do sports run your life? Director David Lynch stops by to talk about his foundation and his meditation methods. We recap the Lynch interview. Paul O calls in to talk about Ron's Summer Movies. Crazed calls in. David Blaine set a world record. Z-Man stops by to talk about his cigar trip. Fez is going to the hospital over the weekend. [Original Broadcast Date: May 1, 2008]"
These are not the droids I'm looking for.

I don't think Audible has the rights to anything that wasn't originally broadcast on XM. When they replayed the Big Ass Night of Fights Audible just got a random replay. I'd imagine that the Friday show would have at last had the origins of Mighty Horse and since that came from Free FM, Audible couldn't play the show.
Although I could be wrong since they opened the Thanksgiving show with a Kenny Allen call.

Does anyone have the "Song Origins" show?
Mikey? Anyone?

I could give both of the shows to Mikeyboy or another admin/mod if they want to add them to the file library.

It's there now. I just downloaded and listened to it. Loved it, But I hope I never have to listen to that "Alice's Resaurant" song again. Painful.

Any word on this? I am dying to listen to the song origins show!
Although a lot of time through the file library itself, you could do it, but this would be a good relax to cleaning house episode.

I think things like this are frowned upon here. :nono:
You are asking for the wrath of Mikeyboy.

From what I read on the front page...
Today's best of show, which was to feature the origins of some of great parody songs that Perrynoid and Sleeves have written, did not air due to a techinical issue.
However, it will run tonight at midnight and on Sunday at 2pm. All apologies for the confusion this may have caused.
Since it didn't air on Friday, they uploaded the "Archive" show to Audible that they ran instead.
Mikey was able to upload the "Special Delivery" Sam and Dave show that aired on a Saturday.
I'm hoping that he, or someone, can upload the "Origins of Songs" show as well.

hey look buddy, "bite my ass!" and by "ass" I mean "torrent." and by "torrent" I mean type all those words together followed by ".com" and you'll be off to a good start. I have audible but you have to have backups since some shows don't make it in.
Oh and Earl thanks for ruining Thanksgiving you ass.
