I just got a ticket for this show. Im going to NY for the RF.net Xmas party and im taking the whole following week off to hang in NY. Anyone else wanna go? I saw Gene Ween solo last year and it was GREAT, he did a lot of WEEN songs that they never do live as a band. Looking forward to this show....

Gene Ween is doing solo shows these days? I had no idea. With him doing that and Dean in the Moistboyz, no wonder it take them like five years to release an album.

i think hes been doing it for awhile. But he does mostly WEEN songs (when i saw him he did a song they wrote (and got cut) from the muppets in space movie) and some cover songs. him and an acoustic guitar and their normal bassist. its a good evening.
